| Am 4. Dezember ist Barbaratag. An diesem Tag gibt es einen besonderen Brauch. Man schneidet Zweige von Obstbäumen ab, wie Kirsch- oder Apfelbäumen. Die Zweige stellt man in eine Vase. Die Zweige sollen Knospen tragen und bis zum Heiligen Abend aufblühen. Das soll das kommende Jahr Segen und Glück bringen. die Barbarazweige= κλαδιά ανθισμένης κερασιάς ή μηλιάς τα οποία κόβουν και στολίζουν στις 4.12. σε βάζο. Tα μπουμπούκια τους θα ανθίσουν μέχρι τα Χριστούγεννα, το οποίο θεωρείται σύμβολο ευλογίας και καλοτυχίας για τον καινούργιο χρόνο. |
