This is Church of Santo Amaro.
You can see entire village of Almodôvar, being the viewpoint of village.
Religious, popular, vernacular and baroque architecture, this monument has probable date of construction of the century. XVI and the century. XVIII.

This is the Catholic Church of Saint Ildefonso in Almodôvar, which was designed in 1592. This temple is very sophisticated and it is part of the heritage of our village.

Lisbon is the capital and the largest city of Portugal, with a population of 552,700 within its administrative limits in an area of 100.05 km².
About 2.8 million people live in the Lisbon Metropolitan Area (which represents approximately 27% of the country's population). It is continental Europe's westernmost capital city and the only one along the Atlantic coast.
Nickname: A Cidades das Sete Colinas (The City of Seven Hills), Rainha do Mar (Queen Of The Sea), A Cidade da Tolerância (The City of Tolerance), A Cidade da Luz (The City of the Light).

Southwest writing:
In Almodovar there we have the Southwest Script Museum (MESA), dedicated to the oldest writing of the Iberian Peninsula, and the first spellings of Europe, corresponding to the 1st Iron Age, between centuries VI and IV B.C.

This writing has not yet been deciphered, although it is known that it is fenícia influence, so that it can identify the value of characters, allowing for a reading. However, because of not being able to establish equivalence to a known language, do not know its meaning.

We are at 45 min from the beach. This beach is one of the 10 most beautiful beaches in Europe. This beach located on the site of Caramujeira in full coastal zone of the municipality of Lagoa in the Algarve, has become well known not only for its beautiful cliffs.

In Portugal (Lisbon) there is a Science Related Building know as “ Pavilhão do Conhecimento “. It was built in 1998, part of Expo 98, and it was renewed in 1999.
This pavillion is dedicated to every kind of science experience, exploration of the phisical world and is an interactiv center for every age group.

We belong to a place in Portugal called Alentejo. Alentejo has 3 and half of 18 portuguese districts: Beja, Évora, Portalegre and half of Setúbal.

Alentejo is also the most hot part of the whole country.

The people from Alentejo are alentejanos.

This is our school library. Here the students can study, make their homewoork or simply read.

Every year it also organizes some events like “Maratona da Leitura”.

In the picture, we can see the best football player in the world: Cristiano Ronaldo.

He has got 3 ballon d´or, he plays for Real Madrid and he win the euro 2016 for Portugal.

It is a proud to us that we have got the best football player in the world, the best futsal player in the world (Ricardinho) and the best beach soccer player int he world (Madjer).

The municipal library of Almodôvar is a perfect place to read quietly ,has a big variety of books for all the ages.

Our landscapes are extremely pure, calm, inspirational, beautiful and inhabit them several animal species flocks of birds, herds of cattle and others.

This is Tower Belém in Lisbon. It was built for financial and military purposes in 1519.
It is a fortified tower located in the civil parish of Santa Maria de Belém in the municipality of Lisbon, Portugal. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site because of the significant role it played in the Portuguese maritime discoveries of the era of the Age of Discoveries.

This is our school in Almodôvar, called EB 2,3/s Dr. João de Brito Camacho. There are 518 students in diferent education levels, since 5th to 12th grade. We have three blocks of classes, each one with about 20 classrooms, labs,library, art classeroom and reprographic. Our school also have a big interior and exterior gym. At school entrance we have a socializing space that we call multi-purpose: teachers room, the school board, the office, the cafeteria, the bar, the stationery and the students association.

The Shoemaker statue was built in honor of all the shoemakers of Almodovar village, who produced handmade shoes from the nineteenth century and the decade of 70. Today there are only three craftsmen but came to be about 200.
