| "While we are mourning the loss of our friend, others are rejoicing to meet each other behind the veil." - John Taylor What lies beyond death is a mystery to me. I suspect that it might be somewhat how scholars, teachers and philosophers imagine it to be - and yet full of surprises. No one really knows on this side of the veil. That said, the idea that there is a host of people in some way-shape-or-form on the other side of the veil appeals to me. I choose this idea because it serves me well. If this does not resonate with you, perhaps we all agree that connection and community makes life more supported and makes life richer. Whether or not you believe that there community after death, take this as an invitation to seek community now while you are alive. In this season, find one person that could use your hug, your hand on their shoulder, your smile. If you are really stymied on community, I invite you to email me and we will have community. |
