Barakaldo is a city located in the left side of the Nervion river. The population in Barakaldo is about 100061 inhabitants according to 2011’s cense. There are some means of transport you can use to travel around Barakaldo and Bilbao, the bus, the underground and the train. This is very helpful due to the fact that it is a huge city and they make it easier to travel from one side of the city to the other one.
There are some interesting places to visit in Barakaldo, such as the botanic garden or the centre of Barakaldo, there are places like theatres shops and bars in this zone, so it is a quite touristic zone because it helps to the econommy of the city thanks to many tourist who come to the BEC (Bilbao Exibiton Centre). There are some festivals or expositions that atract hundreds of people from all over the world.
